Transport of Elling E4 after Boot Dusseldorf
After the well known boat show Boot Düsseldorf, we successfully transported an Elling E4. We carried out this project together with Van der Zee Yachting, combining our expertise and experience for a smooth and efficient process.

Unloading from the Hall and Loading on "Big Willy"
After the exhibition, we carefully removed the Elling E4 from the hall. This required precise coordination and craftsmanship to avoid damage and move the yacht safely. We then loaded the yacht onto the imposing crane "Big Willy", an impressive piece of engineering specially designed for lifting heavy yachts and ships.
Big Willy rides a total of eight wheels and has a gradient capability of 5%. This allows it to drive effortlessly into the Rhine, lift the boat waiting there and drive up the slope with its precious cargo to the flatbed trailers waiting on the road. This makes loading and unloading yachts extremely efficient and safe.
For 30 years, Norbert Pilarski has been the experienced operator who manages Big Willy. With years of expertise, he knows better than anyone how to safely move even the most delicate and valuable loads.
Boating trip to Elling Yachts
After loading, the next phase of the transport began: a beautiful cruise downstream towards Aalst, the home base of the Elling yacht yard. During this, we had a good 6.5 knots of current with us, allowing us to effortlessly maintain a speed of 12 knots. This made the trip not only efficient, but also extremely pleasant.
It was a successful collaboration and a great opportunity to work with a top-class yacht like the Elling E4.
